Our Little Dino

Ok, so he's a dragon, but he thinks he's a dinosaur!

Thank you, Anita!

Anita brought Griffin some great books and puzzles! He was SO excited--he was even excited about the bag. He's been busy putting together puzzles and reading since he opened the gift!

He insisted on carrying the tractor book upstairs by himself!

Flashback

We were showing Griffin some videos when he was a baby and we ran across these. It made me giggle to see him so little (and silly), so I just had to share.

Luke & Erin's Wedding

Grandpa and Grandma Jones...
Jody, Addyson and Luke...
Griffin admiring the newlyweds...
Matt, Jamie and Jody...
The happy couple...Luke and Erin....
Happy Grandmas...
The real reason we went to Rapid City was for Jamie's cousin Luke's wedding. We had a great time visiting with family and dancing.

Bear Country

We had the best time at Bear Country in Rapid City, SD. I thought it would be a mediocre kids playland, but instead it was a cool drive through park where you could see awesome animals up close. At the end you coudl walk through "Babyland" where we got to watch 15 (or more?) bear cubs play. We must've watched them for 20 minutes...it was so cute to watch them swim, wrestle and climb trees. Griffin said, "I take my shirt off and go swimming." He wanted to get in there and swim with the bear cubs! We said no. =)

Little Cowboy

We called him Cowboy Bart, but he told us his name was not Bart, it was Griffin Thompson. So, I guess he was Cowboy Griffin Thompson, sounds tough, doesn't it? :)

Fire Trucks

The Willmar Fire Department had a fun night for kids--they could sit in the fire trucks and then they did a book reading. The book was written locally about volunteer firefighters and each family received one. Griffin LOVED the trucks.

Apples

We got some great apples from Wendy and Mary Kaye and had lots of fun cutting...and eating them! We froze some, so will be able to enjoy a little of fall this winter!
