Slushy
We went through the drive through of our local ice cream place when it was raining the other night. We decided to get Griffin a slushy since an ice cream cone in the car would lead to one big mess. He didn't want to even try it until Jamie and I told him it was ours and I cut the straw down...then we couldn't get it away from him!!

Cute Little Jabbering
We get a kick out of Griffin talking....there are times when he fills in jibberish becasue he's not quite sure what to say, but he knows there should be a few more words with what he is telling me. Here's a little example from our stay at the Eiler's house.
A Maze'N Farmyard
Barb and I took Landon, Lauren, Erin and Griffin to the A Maze'n Farmyard on Friday. It was a little on the windy side, but the kids still had a ton of fun. Griffin loved the giant slide and the train. Landon knew the name of every animal and the girls loved petting the bunnies. After the farmyard we had dinner and a sleepover at their house. Barb and I celebrated our successful day with a few beers....we were worn out!Sewing Group
Mary Kaye and Helen are teaching Christina, Kari, Tonya and me how to sew (I am a slow learner!). We had a get together on Thursday morning, and they were nice enough to let me bring Griffin along! He was a good little guy--he was very curious about everything that was going on and decided to start calling Mary Kaye and Helen both Grandma! Mary Kaye and Helen made an awesome dessert that the recipe was recently in the paper....check it out!Thursday, July 16, 2009
Play Date with Brady
Christine and Brady came for a visit last night. The boys had a great time playing together. Brady has a wonderful personality, super fun and curious.

Visiting Grandma Dz
Of course, no visit to Minnesota could be complete without seeing Grandma Dz! Annie got to meet Grandma, enjoy a good home cooked lunch and then enjoyed dinner at Mongo's Grill on the way home. Fun with Chris & Annie
Chris and Annie spent the week with us and we had a blast. Annie and Chris are kinda two peas in a pod--so it was double the fun! Griffin LOVED them, and he loved making them laugh. We did some good West Central Minnesota stuff--pigged out at the Pizza Ranch, went fishing and visited Deep Freeze! If we could just move Colorado a little closer, we'd be all set!

Swimming!
When Griffin does pull ups he says "eh-ah!" The hotel we stayed at had a great wading pool that was perfect for Griffin.Not a Fan of the Merry-Go-Round
I told Griff that Poppa polished all of the brass poles, but it didn't help! We ended up sitting in one of the carriages instead. :)

Willmar Fests Grande Day Parade
On my birthday we walked in the Willmar Fests Grande Day parade for CDS. Griffin enjoyed seeing all the fire trucks...and was pretty tuckered out when it was done!
