Sleeping

I just went to check on Griffin while he was napping and this is how I found him--totally asleep! I moved him onto the bed and he didn't even wake up. I just love his kid--he cracks me up everyday!

So, we tried going to Alvin and the Chipmunk's recent movie ("the squeak one") and the poor little guy cried every time someone got hurt (which was 3 times in the first 5 minutes), so we left and rented TinkerBell. :)

New Bed, Part 2

This is where we found Griffin last night before we went to bed. Needless to say, the new bed doesn't necessarily keep him IN the bed....even when he's sleeping.

New Bed

The Schlegel's gave us this adorable toddler bed....long ago....and we finally have put it to good use. Griffin started climbing out of his crib off and on last week and although we were reluctant to move him onto his next "big boy" stage, "WE DID IT" (as Griffin would say)! Jamie put the bed together on Wednesday night and we let the little guy check it out. Last night I was home with G-man alone and asked him what bed he wanted to sleep in and he said the brown one (ok, he first told me my bed, but we skipped over that option). So, bedtime came and in he went. No getting out, no complaining, just good old fashioned sleep.....until 4:30 a.m. when we heard a "clunk"! Jamie and I both flew up out of bed, Jamie went to go put him back in bed and saw our sweet little boy crawling back into bed himself. He didn't even make a peep. What a doll. So, we did it, we transitioned to a toddler bed.
