Pet for a Day

The stray cat (see previous post) was our pet for a day.  She's a honey.  Griffin even went to Jim and Pat's to get some cat food.  Jamie thought that maybe we should have an outdoor cat living at our place.  Hmmmm....

Looking for Nonna and Poppa

Griffin sang in church on Mother's Day. I thought it was cute that he was looking for Nonna and Poppa when he got in the church. (And, he thought it was super cool that he got to walk where the Pastors walk--behind the alter!)

White Blanket

This is what happens when Griffin's white blanket is in the wash. What a sweet little boy. Eventually he left the blanket's side to go play.

Sweet Boy

Jamie is out of town, so Griffin slept in our bed last night. He was so sweet. We said our bedtime prayers, then he held my hand. I said, "I love it when you sleep in our bed." And he said, "Sometimes I have to sleep in my bed, but then Daddy can sleep in your bed. Does that make you happy, too?" And, I said, "Yes, it does." Then he smiled, kissed my hand and shut his eyes and went to sleep. What a sweet boy!

Typical Morning Off of Work`

We love this sight every morning that we are off of work and can let Griffin (and us!) sleep as long as he wants. I love it that he drags in all of his blankets and toys.

Car Trip

This is how a good portion of our car trips go! He LOVES this book that my parent's friends sent him.

Interview with Griffin: Didn't Like the Squeak One

So, we tried going to Alvin and the Chipmunk's recent movie ("the squeak one") and the poor little guy cried every time someone got hurt (which was 3 times in the first 5 minutes), so we left and rented TinkerBell. :)
