We borrowed a "bike" from Mary Kaye that Griffin now affectionately refers to as "Mary Kaye's bike". Here are some cute photos of him enjoying it. He loves it that he can reach the pedals!

First Day Off
We had the best first day of summer off together! We hiked at Prairie Woods, went out in the boat, visited Nonna and Poppa and went to a Stingers game. Ahhh, I love summer!

Joyful Noise
After months of looking forward to going to the Joyful Noise Family Fest with Hailey and Amelia, we were disappointed to see rain in the forecast all day, but we made the best of it. We had a fun lunch with Tracy, got ponchos, listened to Go Fish, got yummy hot chocolate at Caribou, saw Shrek, ate popcorn for dinner, then went back to the concert to listen to Third Day. If was a fun day....and everyone was a trooper!
Big Wheel
We had to improvise a bit with the big wheel--a towel to move him forward and taping his feet, so they could stay on the pedals, but it worked! (Thanks to our engineer, Jamie).

Birthday Fun
My mom and I took Griffin to the Amazin' Farmyard for his birthday. He had a blast on the giant slide, train, pony and bouncy thing and loved pumping water. He got to hold some baby chicks and bunnies. He even talked Nonna out of her ice cream cone after his popcicle was done! What more could a 3 yer old ask for!? :) He wanted to go to Melvin's for dinner, so we enjoyed a nice dinner outside, finished off with a stop to our favorite local ice cream place! Thanks to everyone for the fun birthday calls and wonderful gifts. He enjoyed all of the attention he got today. We're blessed.
