Our poor little guy had the stomach flu on Christmas day! We felt SO bad for him. Our gift opening lasted 12 hours because we stopped and started for naps. Fortunatley he started feeling better after his afternoon nap and even wanted to go for a golf cart ride to see the Christmas lights!

Griffin quickly got acclimated to Poppa and Nonna's house! He loves watering the plants, throwing ducks into the pond, and checking his mailbox--if the flag is up, there is a present in there! He's loving it down here!

New Game

Jamie is the king of game creation, so I was pretty proud of myself for figuring this one out! Of course, I was subjected to it first, then Griffin wanted to join in on the fun!

Looking for the Deer

On Wednesday at about 5:00 p.m. Griffin yelled, "There's a deer!" So, I took a look at our nearby Christmas tree to see if I could spot the reindeer that I figured he was talking about. It turns out there was a beautiful doe in our backyard. She looked at us for a second then ran off. Griffin wanted to go find her and pet her. So, we bundled up and ran outside (obviously she had run far away, but I thought it would be fun to play with the big snowflakes falling down). We settled on petting the light up reindeer next door!

Preschool

Griffin started Preschool this week! He loves Mother Goose Time. The video shows him telling us what Mary says when it's time for preschool ("Mother Goose Time, Learning Everyday!") and the photo is some of his great craft projects. It's so fun to hang up his projects!

Quick Hug for Santa

Griffin wasn't quite sure about Santa, but thought he should give him a hug, so made it a REAL quick one!

Christmas in the Village

We went to Christmas in the Village with Grandpa and Grandma Jones on Saturday. Griffin was just fine with getting candy from Santa, but sitting on his lap was another thing! I even sat on his lap...I guess I am the only one that will get what I want for Christmas this year!

Thanksgiving with Grandma Dz

We had a great visit with Grandma Dz. We were able to stay two nights, which was great because Griffin didn't want to leave! He snuggled up to her any minute he got! We had a nice, relaxing holiday and delicious dinner. And, Jamie and I even got to go for a nice hike in the woods behind Grandma's house--it was gorgeous!
